We all agree it’s hard to renovate or decorate our own spaces. I’m so confident when it comes to making choices for clients but when it’s time to decorate my own space; I struggle with indecision and second-guessing. However, I know from personal experience that I learn so much when I tackle my own projects. I see first hand how my project management strategies work or don’t work. I see first hand how my trades behave when I’m not there. And, I gain empathy for my own clients who suffer the same challenges when it’s time to renovate or remodel their spaces.
