Introduction

Congratulations. You have a client that you really love. You are an ideal fit. Perhaps you’ve already successfully completed a project together and you want to keep the relationship alive so you’ll be top of mind when the next job comes around.

Or, you’re in the middle of a small project, it’s going well and you see other opportunities to work with this client, ways to expand and grow the relationship.

When you find an ideal client, you want to nurture and grow that relationship. Whether you are in the middle of a project or you’ve successfully already completed a project. I’ve learned now to look actively for opportunities to expand and deepen those positive client relationships. In fact, when the economy takes a down turn, as it does from time to time, those past clients are typically my biggest resource. So nurturing them makes sense.
