Classically trained in graphic design and typography at Rhode Island School of Design, with no formal education in painting, she decided to pick up a paint brush for the first time one evening in 2016. While her initial intent was to use painting as a meditative outlet, the process of creating became a driving force in the trajectory of her career as a textile designer.
