During this presentation, participants will learn about the history, vision and mission of WasteLAB, including how circular economy principles are shaping product development and processes. In addition, participants will discover what waste streams are being utilized as new materials, how they are combined and processed into new products including tile and decorative items, and how designing with such products differentiates the work and brings social responsibility and purpose forward to our clients.
• Discover the history, vision and mission of WasteLAB;
• Understand how Circular Economy principles are shaping product development and processes in the WasteLAB and how this differs from a traditional linear manufacturing model;
• Understand the new processes that are used in the WasteLAB to turn industrial waste streams into decorative tile, accessories and other products
