Even if you discuss the project at the outset and agree on a budget for props and expenses, things will undoubtedly be added to the list in the days leading up to the shoot. Make sure that you make your client aware that these additions will incur more time and money. In the early days, I used to keep exactly to the budget, sometimes digging into my own pocket. Don’t do this!
