Get the most out of the BOD Conference

Our 2014 BOD Conference is just around the corner and we want our conference attendees to be prepared for all the learning including the launch of our BOD Gain Weight Challenge Here’s a checklist of essentials:

Using your income results from 2013 fill in this simple Income Analysis worksheet and bring it with you to the BOD conference. It’s for your eyes only!! This is your first step to a more profitable 2014!

Make note of the number of hours you billed in 2013! All you need to know is the total number of hours you billed.

Think about your Elevator Pitch. Prep a quick 2 or 3 sentences that summarize you and your design business.

If you are driving to the conference parking is located underground at the TD Centre; entrances off of King St. and Wellington St. Park near the YELLOW section, and use that elevator to go up to D|X.

Let us know now if you have any dietary restrictions we need to accommodate.

If you plan to attend the IDS gala with us, make sure to purchase a ticket to the IDS Opening Night Party. We’d love you to participate in our BOD/IDS Scavenger Hunt that night!

Arrive between 7:30 am – 8:15 am on Jan. 22, 2014. This way you’ll have time to get registered and enjoy some breakfast before the first session begins.

The Conference speakers begin sharply at 9 am on both days. The Conference ends at 6pm on Jan. 22 and at 5 pm on Jan. 23 (plenty of time to get ready for the IDS Gala and BOD Scavenger Hunt!)

Bring plenty of business cards, as you’ll make some lasting connections with peers and suppliers.

Feel free to bring a laptop or iPad for note taking. The WiFi code will be provided on site.

Dress Code: Smart and Casual. Wear comfortable shoes and be ready to work!
TIP: Wear layers. This way you can adjust for your comfort level.

Sleep well the night before. You’ll want to be fresh for all the learning.
